The Pilot Custom 743 features a black resin body with gold accents and Pilot's exceptionally smooth #15 14k gold nib. The body of the Custom 743 is the same size as Pilot's popular vacuum-filler Custom 823 model, but the Custom 743 instead offers a cartridge/converter filling system.
